Get it treated: Some one at your age thyroid cancer prognosis is excellent at your age. Younger people do very well , most likely you have more common papillary type. Go and get it treated , 10 years from now you will be encouraging others , how safe and effective the treatments are.

Thyroid cancer: First find out what"kind" it is -- papillary is less aggressive than medullary. Then seek out an excellent neck surgeon for total thyroidectomy. If they discover spread into lymph nodes you may have to have radiation after thyroid is removed. Seek out a major center with multiple specialists including surgeon, radiation oncologist, endocrinologist.
