A member asked:

I started off as 146 but now i'm 151. why would that happen on a diet?

More in than Out: While it is true that we don't understand all the mechanisms behind appetite and energy expenditure, we do know that taking in more calories than can be burned off will lead to weight gain. A dietician may be helpful. Please discuss with your doctor.
