That is OK: Periods on the pill are artificially started by briefly stopping the pill (most packs contain 4 to 7 inactive pills for this purpose) but it is perfectly acceptable to take the pill continuously and have few if any periods. There is nothing harmful in this. There are no periods because nothing is building up, not because you are "damming up" the flow.
