GMO: Gmo means genetically modified organism---- i presume. Gmo are very useful for production of insulin, clotting factors for hemophilia, human growth hormone for dwarfism.

Thanks for your answer. Our correspondent has read something online about the supposed dangers of genetically modified crops. There's a special irony here. Today a diabetic's insulin is manufactured by genetically modified bacteria in the lab. When it became clear that biotechnology was saving lives, the militants switched their attacks from "Nazi medicine" to "Frankenstein food." Sadly, good people are being frightened unnecessarily.
