Absolutely!: Mctd is the most benign of the connective tissue diseases. Most of my patients have little or no sx once the medications have time to work. You should be on hydroxychloroquine, most commonly 200mg bid. I do not see seriously ill mctd patients. Do not let a diagnosis frighten you! this a common issue in rheumatology: over-diagnosis.
