Varies a lot: Not all people with adhd have social problems, though many do. Peers often reject children with combined-typed adhd because they are impulsive and lose focus. With adolescents and adults, the ready boredom, impulsive behaviors, and high distractibility can be a problem; but, many have good friends and are popular because of their spontaneity, risk-taking, and high energy.

Varies: Difficulty focusing, attending to clues, impulsiveness, not listening likely contribute to common finds of mild social skills deficits contributing to social problems for adhd adults and children. See http://cpancf.Com/articles_files/adhdsocialskills.Asp for an overview of social skill deficits in adhd. These are not of the severity seen in autism spectrum disorders.
