Hystero : A hysterisalpingogram is a test to determine if fallopian tubes are patent and to look at shape of endometrial cavity and to make sure no polyps are in the endometrium. A speculum and catheter are inserted into the vagina and cervix and dye is injected and x-rays are taken as the procedure is done. The exam sometimes can be a little uncomfortable but in experienced hands should be fine.
