A member asked:

What can prevent me from running without losing my breath?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Training: It is normal to "get out of breath" when running. It is only abnormal if it is greater than expected. As you run you use energy and incur an "oxygen debt" that is compensated by increased oxygen uptake. Check out your diet and get rid of sugar if your being overly breathless is abnormal. Google my blog "oxygen, the spark of life".
