What can be done about a colon obstruction?

Surgery ussually: Colon obstruction can be caused by benign conditions(diverticulitis, volvulus or twisting, constipation, inflamatory bowel didease) or cancer. Sometimes medications or minor procedures can help( atleast temporarily) , surgery is usually required for majority of causes, especially when cancer is associated.
