Weight and money: Obesity hinders the accurate assessment of renal function as the estimate of renal function is based on normal weight and muscle mass, obesity obscures signs and symptoms of many systemic diseases.Lack of insurance has been an impediment to acquiring the appropriate testing for some of my patients.
