A member asked:

How can i stop my son from sucking his finger?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below:: Limit time allowing to suck-not in public. Do not criticize or confront-praise when not doing it. Talk about his finger sucking and make him self aware. Encourage him and flatter him that in the future he will not suck his finger since he will be all grown up. Give him a role model to aspire this goal: ex: does batman or spiderman suck their finger?
