A member asked:

I have insect bites, they are like swollen like the size of half rollers, with a hole in the middle that leeks clear liquid?

Insect bites usually: Have a central puncta (hole) which may leak fluid. Try ice to reduce swelling & calm itch. Use otc Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or zyrtec (either can cause drowsiness) &/or Claritin to combat the reaction. Can also take zantac/axid/pepcid to block the other histamine receptors. Watch for signs of infection: heat, increased redness, more pain, pus, in which case, see doc.
