Not normal, typical.: When you've had a boil drained and treated, you can expect up to 4 wks of healing. If you're having infection over 8 wks later, see your doc to have the site looked at. They'll wanna see it, to see if it needs another lancing. And call 'em quick, before it festers up and makes a mess.
