Soft cheeses?: Like the other doctors, i'm not aware of a link between ice cream and pneumonia. In rare cases a fetus can get very sick or even become stillborn if the mother eats cheese or other food contaminated with listeria. Symptoms in infant include breathing difficulties like rapid breathing, fever, etc. You can read more from the cdc: http://www.Cdc.Gov/ncbddd/pregnancy_gateway/infections-listeria.Html.
