Unnecessary risk: Vaccinations are a great benefit to children, more so than any other medical advancement. Diseases that used to cause harm and even death among children, such as tetanus and diphtheria, almost never occur. Not immunizing your child places him/her at risk, as well as the people he encounters, for diseases that are totally preventable. We have a measles epidemic in my state now because of this.
