My doc decided to treat my back pain like a slipped disc w/o imaging. with the pain i have diarrhea it's been 3 weeks & both are getting worse. ideas?

Diarrhea : Back conditions are generally not associated with diarrhea. I would have concern that there might be something going on in the abdomen which is causing diarrhea and also back pain. I would return to your healthcare provider soon for reevaluation and to evaluate this further.

Re evaluation: You may have a disc issue by your history and exam. Anti inflammatory meds can give GI side effects if your diarrhea started with a medication prescribed - otherwise , if the diarrhea started with the back pain or before i would be concerned that there is another reason for your symptoms instead of a disc problem or you could be unlucky with 2 separate problems occuring simultaneously.
