A member asked:

What are the shortcomings of current thyroid tests?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tests: Lab tests are numbers on pieces of paper and are only as good as the lab itself and the doctor interpreting them. They can change dramatically over time. An excellent clinician is much harder to find. Seek one out.
