Take charge, Ask Qs: Recognize reality that your primary physician (medical decision maker) is always yourself, no one else. Always get copies of all data, lab numbers, medical images, etc. & work on understanding them. Don’t put up with md intimidation. If md won’t or can’t readily answer questions well, even “dumb” questions (sometimes the best), go elsewhere. Be respectful & appreciative, if warranted. Use the net.
