Unclear: There is very little hard data about sage extract. The online advertisers say that sage is a mild estrogen type extract that helps menopausal symptoms. I am not sure if that claim has been validated. Tamoxifen works by blocking the body's estrogen and "starving" the tumor. If sage actually does work, then it would get in the way of tamoxifen's intended effect.

Estrogen: Sage contains some estrogen and tamoxifen is there to block it- so it overcomes what you are trying to do.
