A member asked:

Is there a difference in taking 1-20mg pill a day or 1-10mg 2x a day (am/pm)? don't you end up getting the same amount either way? i'm speaking of tamoxifen?

Best is to ask your prescribing physician about the timing and use according to his/her recommendation. The dose of Tamoxifen is going to be of equal benefit regardless of either dosing regimen.

This depends a bit on how your body metabolized the T. If you are a fast metabolizer 2 x a day will be better. Also check Drugs.com for interactions with other meds supplements you may be taking. Some will speed up metabolism of some drugs and others will slow them down. Discuss with your prescriber as well. And tell them if you are taking other meds.

I agree with Dr. G's advice. I would also ask your pharmacist this question.
