A member asked:

Is it too late to treat hep c if your spleen and liver are swollen and your platelets are low?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Complicated: It is not too late to be treated, but the damage already done to the liver is not likely to be reversible. This is assuming that your hepatic and splenic enlargement is due to your hepatitis, and not to something else. Please see a doctor and be appropriately managed.
