What to do if i have mono, how do i know if my liver/spleen is swollen?

Found on exam: If you know how to look for it the liver edge can be detected below its normal position and the spleen could be felt on the left side of the abdomen. I know of few people who could realistically judge either on themselves.The physician can determine this on physical exam or ultrasound.
