Being drunk: Alcohol is a substance that disinhibits you -- meaning you just respond without thinking. The first drink or so may relax you, but getting drunk allows other impulses to come up and not be run through our usual brain cortex before acting upon them. Depending on who you're with and what you're saying to them (or them to you) this can be dangerous.
