Hot Flashes: Generally speaking, Letrozole (femara) is very well-tolerated. The most common side effects include hot flashes, fatigue, joint pain, and headaches. Women with osteoporosis are at an even higher risk of fractures when taking letrozole, therefore, your doctor may prescribe another medication to treat osteoporosis.
