A member asked:

I apparently have a kidney disease but don't know why. high bp?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be: High BP can cause kidney disease, even if you are already on BP meds. Kidney disease can also cause high bp, which can then cause a viscious cycle of sorts. If you have kidney disease and high bp, it is important to have regular f/u with your kidney doc to treat both conditions optimally.
