A member asked:

How do old people break bones so much?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A few things.: Osteoporosis makes bones very susceptible to break with just slight force. As we age our bones become more brittle. That combined with the fact that many elderly are not steady on their feet can lead to thse situations. Other systemic conditions can lead to fractures/breaks.
