Move them often: Move your legs often and in different postions. If you are able to get up every hour for a few minutes to stretch, this would also be good. Don't let the back of your knees dig into the edge of the chair as this will cut off the circulation to the area.

Walk: Do not sit for more than an hour without getting up and walking 5 minutes. I also suggest you wear support stockings.
