Possibly: You have encoporesis if you have constipation and leak stool around the constipated stool.

The log jam: Encopresis will often occur in those with chronic stool retention/constipation. The retention of firm, thick and or bulky stool overt time removes the sensation of stool leaking from the anus. The more liquid stool entering the colon from above swirls around the "log jam" and leaks out. You could also leak if you thought you were passing gas, but passed stool instead.
