"dumping syndrome": Shorter bowel less surface area and less fluid reabsorbed from waste material resulting in loose stools. This is a chronic problem. Meds such Lomotil (diphenoxylat and atropine) to slow motility and bulking agents help some but not always. Cholesterymine has been used as well . Have to be careful not to over treat and cause constipation and obstruction. See your GI dr.
