I have had 3 steroid inj into bursa they help pain for about 2weeks then it's really bad again i'm walking with bad limp and pain is bad have orthotics and done strengthen exercise but no effec

Acupuncture: Steroids help decrease inflammation temporarily. Sometimes they help for months and sometimes not- as in your case. Acupuncture and chinese medicine help a lot with pain and in helping get you more balanced in general. Diet changes help too...Also try homeopathic rhus toxicodendron. It will help and provides temporary relief. You want long term relief and that comes from chinese medicine/acupunctu.

You did not : Mention where the bursitis is located. However, if 3 injections did not help, your diagnosis needs to be re- evaluated, and possibly an MRI considered to evaluate the soft tissue structures and even the bone better. An MRI can give a fine tunes diagnosis that can escape clinical exam alone.
