Not normal need eval: Generally with the paraguard the menstrual cycles are normal in timing and duration but heavier in flow. This is clearly not true for you from your question. While it is possible, in fact likely, that you do not have any severe issues, you should be evaluated to assess for appropriate placement and position of the iud. Further you should assess for infection, polyp, fibroids and even pregnancy.
