Get checked !: Sounds like your iud is falling out. It may have already fallen out completely, which would make my answer passe, but if it hasn't already plopped out into the toilet or your underwear, you should go get that placement checked. If you hadn't already had the iud in for a year, i'd think maybe they just left the strings long, but sine it's been in so long, it's probably more than that.

Ive tried BCPs, IUDs, Nexplanon, the patch, the ring.. basically everything but shots, all varying hormone levels. Was fine for 3 years on the pill, but now every single birth control makes me bleed 4+ weeks nonstop. Why?!?!?!
