Yes: Weight watchers has a significant amount of data to demonstrate that it can be effective. However, it can also be ineffective and it is dependent on the client to use the program wisely. The key is to record all of your points in an honest fashion, attend meetings and weigh in regularly. It is better to choose healthy foods to spend your points on than junk and exercise is recommended as well.

Yes: As with any program, the main ingredient is you. The more efforts you put into it, the more benefits you will get from it. The main premise for weight watcher is reasonable and there are data showing that it works as long as a patient follow what's recommended.
