Penis scar: Unless the scar gets painful during sex, leave it alone. If you cannot live with it, consult a urologist or a plastic surgeon.

Urology assessment: It is difficult to advise unless more is known about the cause of the scar i.e., herpes, trauma, infection, burn, surgery, etc. First get a urology assessment and follow up recommendations.

Healing scars: A scar forms when there is healing of an injury to the tissues. Remember that with almost all wounds, healing continues for months and months as we change the stress on the tissues. A scar forms as a result and may have many different appearances and colors. Any dark coloration may fade over time but the tissues never are the same and so some scarring will always be there.
