Ptosis: Breasts that are lower than normal are considered ptotic. This is a result of the ligametous structures (coopers ligaments) that have stretched over time. Larger breasts and breast feeding tend to lead to more ptosis (sagging). This is impossible to prevent as time and gravity are not avoidable! bras with support are the only ways to prevent ptosis without surgery.
