Now!: Smoke is smoke and carbon monoxide is present in both. Besides, pot is illegal in many areas, but even if its use is "medicinal" i'd stop at least 2 weeks before and after surgery. Ask your surgeon but be prepared for a little well-deserved grief! would you be ok if your surgeon toked up a bit before s/he operates? Come on, you knew the answer before you asked. Stop now and clear your lungs!
