Saps confidence: Depressed people often feel that they are worthless and incompetent, so decision-making can become quite difficult. They are apt to believe that whatever decision they make will be wrong--and perhaps make them feel even worse than they already do. Typically, once the depression is treated, this indecision goes away or at least lessens markedly.

Agree w Dr. Elliot: Indecisiveness, lack of confidence and poor self esteem are common with major depression.
