Varies: Depends on what was performed. Recovery typically is 2-4 weeks for debridement (clean up) and 4-6 months for impingement surgery with repair of the labrum.

3-4 months: Recovery is dependent on the extent of cartilage damage at the time of surgery. I start my patients they day after surgery with gentle motion with a therapist. This starts passive and then moves to active. Your surgeon should provide you a protocol.

Varies: Depending on what procedure was performed, recovery may be a few weeks with a debridement, and 4-6 months with a labral repair and femoroplasty/acetabuloplasty.
