Scar revision: Scars can be improved by revision. They cannot be made to disappear altogether. You need to have an exam to determine the amount of improvement you can expect.

Yes: Scar revision can be effective for facial scars and can consist of simple excision and layered closure for wider scars or use of techniques such as a "Z" plasty or geometric broken line closure to make scars less noticeable.
