What's the difference between prevention and long-term management of asthma?

Similar in many ways: In its most basic form, prevention deals with avoidance of known triggers. Medical management attempts to control the disease, and prevent future attacks using medications, frequently inhalers, sometimes pills and injections. Prevention of infections is achieved with the use of vaccine.
