Plantar fasciitis : Doesn't require ankle support. The type od support that works best is underneath the foot, as in a good orthotic device to go inside the shoe.

An orthotic: Or arch support would be better than an ankle support. However, some ankle supports may work as they do pss along the bottom of the foot and hence may help support the plantar fascial structure.
