Heart attack: Prevention of heart disease depends on risk factors: non- modifiable risk factors are age and heredity. Modifiable risk factors are obesity, smoking, hypertension, cholesterol, diabetes, sedantary life, diet etc. If we can control these risk factors and start a healthy life style we will prevent coronary artery disease.

Live healthy: Follow the advice already given by other healthtap doctors and absolutely stop smoking if you do. An Aspirin a day and perhaps a low-dose beta-blocker may help if you are at risk, consult your primary doctor or cardiologist.
