Good question: Coronary artery disease can be prevented by taking due precautions and adhering to healthy life style. Actually it should start at an early age. Quit smoking. No drugs. Alcohol in moderation. Diet should consist of more vegetables and fruits, less red meat more of white meat. Regular exercise or walking 30 minutes every other day. If diabetic, control it with appropriate care. Aspirin daily helps.
