A member asked:

What are the treatment options for rhabdomyosarcoma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A rare disease group: Dominant in pedatric age, cluster in genitourinary locations and head and neck, adjacent to meninges. Surgery to remove is best; chemotherapy is used when indicated, and radiotherapy only when benefit outstrips adverse effects to growing bones and muscles, so very age dependent.
