Is there a medical condition in which you get very attached to your loved one?

Psychiatric, maybe: You can become intensely attached to your loved one when relying on that relationship to solve an inner problem. Healthy love brings with it some inter-dependency. This is usually shared, and partners can switch roles back & forth without disrupting the relationship. But in conditions like anxiety and mood disorders, certain personality disorders, & addictions, this can become imbalanced.
