Allergy to seaweed: The seaweed allergy is not related to fish but the seaweed itself.He should see an allergist or his doctor, needs to void all foods which containseaweed as it is extensively used in asian cuisine.It is used in agar , in dashi a stock used for soup.He should alwys carry a Epipen (epinephrine) and if he swells up any time he needs to use it , as it can be serious reaction.Check with the allergist.
