Meth Use & Fibro?: Using meth can make your entire life worse, fibromyalgia or not. Many people use this drug seeking euphoria, novelty, weight loss, or a temporary uplifting effect. Meth boosts the release, and stops the reuptake, of Dopamine in the brain -- leading to a Dopamine "rush." ongoing use can change brain function, causing emotional and cognitive difficulties. It does nothing to enhance health.
