Reg doctor visits: Monitoring the growth of the baby is one of the things your doctor will monitor during your regularly scheduled office visits. The doctor will use a tape measure to feel the top of your uterus (fundal height). This will be done each visit. If there is ever concern the doctor can do a sonogram to confirm that the baby is growing normally.
