Possible, but : Cancer of sinuses usually not attributed due to chronic sinusitis, however highter incidence is seen in wood workers ( japan) and metal worker who develops sinusitis due to dust inhalation, higher incidence of cancer especially sqamous cell cancer is seen more often.

Not likely : Cancer of your sinuses often grows to block your sinus drainage pathways which can lead to sinusitis. So often they can be present together. But sinusitis does not cause cancer
