Autoimmune Disease: Henrik sjogren described patients with sicca features (dry eyes, dry mouth) and swollen lymph glands. Sjogren's can also cause pulmonary, neurologic and articular disease due to inflammation as well as fatigue. It is an autoimmune disease: primary disorder or secondary to systemic lupus (sle) or ra. Likely viral and genetic facctors initiate. Treated topically (eyes) and systemically like lupus.
